Wootton bands, orchestras, and choruses, along with Frost bands, were busy at the beginning of December, showcasing their talents for the Winter Concerts. Each performance demonstrated the students’ hard work, talent, and love of music. These concerts also showcased the amazing work and dedication of our vocal and instrumental music instructors. Bravo!

Acatonics helped set the festive tone at the Crown tree lighting, filling the evening with joyful carols and warm holiday spirit. Their caroling brought smiles and a little extra magic to the RIO Washingtonian Center.

Congratulations to Marching Band!
Kudos to the Wootton HS Marching band, who not only came in second in the state at MMBAs with their performance of “Rising from the Embers”, but were one of three US Marching Bands selected to represent the US in China as Cultural Ambassadors!
Highlights included exchanges and performances with Chinese students from Beijing and Shenzhen; learning about Chinese history, food and culture; and performing on the Great Wall!
